New Thinking New
A1 is equipped with Self-driving and mapping algorithms (SLAM – simultaneous localization and mapping) which helps the robot to rove in any environment autonomously and safely (it can also be teleoperated if needed).
A1 detects and recognizes the user (human) face and uses its 6DOF human-like arms to interact with users, performing human-like gestures, which makes the interaction more engaging and interesting. These robotic arms, along with the help of a RGBD camera, can detect an object and its pose and can lift the detected objects and move a load of 500gms autonomously.
A1 is developed with collision detection algorithms that makes the robot safe to use in crowded areas. A1 is designed to be modular, so that all the major parts of the robot can be replaced which makes it more viable in a wide range of use cases. A 10″ wide touch display attached to it also helps the users to communicate with it In a noisy environment, the display also is a very useful fallback when verbal communication is not easy.
